What is Hexarelin
Hexarelin (HEX) is a synthetic peptide GH secretagogue that stimulates the release of growth hormone (GH). It was developed by Mediolanum Farmaceutici and is commonly used as a treatment of GH deficiency. Athletes and bodybuilders also use it as a performance enhancement drug.
How does it work?
Through the stimulation of the secretion of natural Growth Hormone, Hexarelin increases the strength, the growth of new muscle fibers and the size of existing muscle fibers; it also protects neurons and increases its joint rejuvenation, its protection and its healing. Due to the increase of circulating GH, levels of insulin-like Growth Factor rise in the liver, which causes muscle growth.
People who care about their shape and physical performance commonly seek substances that enhance the growth of muscle and lean body mass, due to this fact Hexarelin has gained fame as a performance enhancement drug.
Athletes are not the only ones who use Hexarelin; an important section of population has a special interest in this peptide. People seeking weight loss and corporal aesthetics find Hexarelin very helpful since it is a fat-reducing agent.
Hexarelin has shown improvements in skin elasticity, which contributes in maintaining healthy skin. People who are interested in retaining their lean figure through their adult life can benefit greatly from Hexarelin.
People using Hexarelin have not shown any appetite boost. Unlike other stimulators of GH, this peptide does not have the ability to increase Ghrelin levels, which is commonly named the “hunger hormone”. Ghrelin hormone regulates the appetite and improves and enhance energy levels in the body.
Another important benefit of Hexarelin is its capability to heal the tissue that protects the heart and contributes to maintain it healthy. Although it is not the most sought effect, it is very beneficial in maintaining good health.
This peptide also stimulates the release of prolactin that allows mammals (usually females) to produce milk. Prolactin is secreted from pituitary gland and has an important role in metabolism, regulation of the immune system and pancreatic development.
Hexarelin releases cortisol, which is a steroid hormone produced in humans on the adrenal gland. It is released naturally in response to stress and low blood-glucose concentration and some of its effects are the suppression of immune system, the decrement of bone formation and the increase in the metabolism of fat, protein and carbohydrates.
Some reports have indicated a possible link between the use of Hexarelin and the development of gynecomastia, which is a disorder of the endocrine system that is manifested by the increase in the size of male breast tissue.
Some studies have shown that effective doses of 2 mg/kg Hexarelin work effectively. On the other hand, people who take it daily can take upto 400 mcg/day. It is advisable to be aware of the benefits as the possible side effects of the use of Hexarelin.
